Heavy Duty Assembly Line Conveyor | 2.5″ Dia. Rollers | 51″ Wide x 48″ BF x 5′ Long
Heavy duty gravity conveyors are cost-effective, versatile, modular, and customizable. Instead of motors, gravity conveyors rely on gravity, making them an energy-efficient solution. They are commonly used in production lines, distribution, and fulfillment, and can also move trays or equipment in vertical farming operations. Their modular, customizable design makes them ideal for scaling with a growing business.
Ultimation’s heavy duty industrial conveyors are available in stocking lengths of 5′ and 10′, and stocking widths of 48″ between frame (51″ overall width). For wider widths, contact us for a quote.

How to Choose and Configure the Right Heavy Duty Roller Conveyor:
- Choose the conveyor’s between-frame width based on your product’s dimensions. To ensure smooth movement, leave 1″ clearance on each side. If your product might shift sideways while moving, consider a wider conveyor or add fixed or adjustable side guides.
- Determine the total required conveyor length. Once you’ve identified the length you need, connect 5-foot and 10-foot conveyor sections to achieve that length.
- Decide on support centers. Support centers are the distance from one conveyor leg to the next. Support must be placed at 5’ or 10’ intervals for all loads.
- Be sure your product moves smoothly along the roller conveyor without getting stuck. Decide which roller center (the distance between each roller) will keep your product supported by at least 3 rollers simultaneously—or more if the bottom surface isn’t flat. Choose from 3″, 4-1/2″, or 6″ roller centers.
