Itoh Denki Multi-Angle Ball Sorter | Conveyor Sortation Module
Transfer articles at any specified angle with the Itoh Denki Multi-Angle Ball Sorter (MABS2). The Itoh Denki MABS2 is powered by two low-voltage 24V DC MDRs, making it a cost-effective conveyor diverter module. Eliminating pneumatics in favor of MDR technology significantly reduces the need for ongoing maintenance. Its modular design allows easy drop-in installation into your existing conveyor frames. Remember to mount the included Itoh Denki stays before placing the MABS2 module on the conveyor and bolting it onto the frame.

Place two or more modules end-to-end to accommodate larger packages. This allows you to easily scale your conveyor diverter module to adjust to changing operational needs.
The Itoh Denki MABS2 functions as a flexible ball transfer sorter by reorienting and diverting packages. Unlike traditional pop up transfers, its multidirectional rollers remain flat on the surface which enables a smooth transfer. Photo eye sensors detect each package, and the driver cards signal the MABS2 to automatically route each package to a direction configured by the operator via the PLC.
The MABS2 conveyor sortation module integrates seamlessly with Itoh Denki-powered conveyors such as the Ultimation Itoh Denki Powered Roller Conveyors. Control these units using the Itoh Denki IB-E04F or IB-E06F-UL-M1 driver cards, and connect them with the IB-E Basic Connector Kit. Driver cards and connector kits sold separately.
