The Interroll EC5000 RollerDrive 24V Motor Driven Roller (MDR) offers a safe and energy-efficient alternative to conveyors traditionally powered by large electric motors. Interroll RollerDrives reduce noise levels in facilities with the use of decoupling elements and only operate when prompted to by a sensor or PLC. Ultimation is a leading Interroll distributor, with application engineers ready to assist you! MDR conveyors can convey parts using zero pressure accumulation (ZPA) technology. This means that the motorized zones can turn on and off automatically, moving parts smoothly along a conveyor without touching each other. Photo eyes provide the signal to turn the motorized rollers on and off.

Interroll MultiControl Card
Up to four individual EC5000, MDR’s can be driven by one Interroll MultiControl. When comparing Itoh Denki MDR and Interroll MDR systems, it’s important to take into account this difference. Itoh Denki motorized rollers require one control card per motorized roller. Consider the total installed cost of all motors and control cards when comparing MDR solutions.
