This Replacement Torque Limiting Coupler functions as a shaft-to-shaft coupler and torque limiter for the Ultimation Automated Tire and Wheel Conveyor Trailer. A torque limiter is an overload safety device that provides overload protection. When excessive loading or jam-up occurs, the torque limiter will quickly release to prevent system damage. Either shaft can be used to drive the load. Its tamper-proof setting prevents torque value from being changed once installed. However, if required, you can disassemble the springs to change the torque value. Built with durable heat-treated steel to ensure a long operational life and an enclosed design to enable operation in a wide variety of industrial environments.
