The EZ-EYE series of photoelectric sensors (photoeyes) from Tri-Tronics offer an economic one-button solution that is painless to align and adjust. The setup is simple with the unique one-touch Autoset™ routine, simply place the sensor in the Light State condition and press the button once for a perfect setting. This photoeye is designed to work with several different interchangeable optical blocks; the PZRCR5 is equipped with a Type R5 Polarized Anti-Glare Retroreflective block which is polarized to reduce response to “hot spot” glare from a shiny surface of the detected object. This optical block must be used with a visible light source; the PZRCR5 is engineered with a 660nm red LED light source.
