The Tri-Tronics EZ-PRO photoelectric multi-mode sensor (photoeye) is a rugged, vibration-proof, waterproof, high-performance sensor designed for quick and easy set up with the push of a single button. Thanks to the Automatic Contrast Tracking System (also known as ACT), the sensor will automatically maintain the correct settings after set-up. Equipped with a Contrast Indicator and Action Alert diagnostic indicator, the operator can visually validate and verify performance. Enable the lock feature on the sensor to make it tamper-proof and enjoy the automatic performance of the EZ-PRO sensor without any hassle. Tri-Tronics designed this sensor with digitally controlled Enhanced Dynamic Range (EDR) which expands the operating range without reduction to the amplifier gain, as well as preventing dark state saturation. Model EZPICF4 has an infrared 880nm LED light source and a Type F4 glass fiberoptics optical block for both the proximity and opposed sensing modes.
The EZ-PRO series of photoeyes are engineered with four LED light source options; infrared, red, blue, and white light. This series is also compatible with ten different “quick change” optical blocks which allows for one sensor to be used in fiberoptic, polarized retroreflective, retroreflective, convergent, and proximity.

- Opposed Mode with F4: 16 inch
- Opposed Mode with F4 and lens: +20 feet
- Proximity Mode with F4: 7 inch using a 0.125 inch diameter fiber bundle
- Proximity Mode with F4 and lens: 1 foot
