The MINI-EYE series of sensors from Tri-Tronics are rugged, economic, miniature photoelectric sensors ideal for a wide variety of applications. Perfectly suited for hostile environments, these sensors are waterproof, enclosed in high-impact plastic housings, and immune to indirect ambient light and strobes. Commonly used for applications such as counting, sorting, inspection, material handling, and more. The PMRRC-18 is a retroreflective photoeye with 18mm side mounting holes with PNP output transistors. The retroreflective models operate in either Beam Break or Beam Make sensing modes and are used with a prismatic reflector; detection triggers when the light beam is broken. The 660nm red LED light source assists to prevent proxing, or responding to undesirable light reflection from shiny objects such as clear plastic, glass, and more.
